Nepal PM meets Chairman of Wang Ping Group

Beijing-In 26th March, during the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference in Prime Minister Puspa Kamal Dahal met with the Chairman of Wangping Group, Din Wanping to discuss issues related to hydropower development in Nepal in Beijing.
Wangping Group is a company based in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, works in the area of water conservancy hydropower planning research, consultation, evaluation, engineering surveying, geotechnical engineering and hydro geological survey, design of hydropower station, electric transmission and substation design, engineering design and general contracting, proprietary technology and related product development business; Hydropower investment, construction and operation; Mining (metals non-metallic mineral prospecting exploration, mining, washing one); Finance and investment guarantees through their industries of large private group.
During the meeting which was facilitated by Chinese C-Center founder, a Chinese company based in Shenzhen, Kathmandu and Pokhara, Wang Ping Group reiterated their interest with the Prime Minister to develop hydropower project in cost efficient way in Nepal. Sam Wood, founder of C Center states, ‘Business Friendly Environment and Security for Chinese Investment could usher a new era of hydropower development to meet the national target of 10000 mw in the next 10 years.
